After many months of working through the Government roadmap and Irish Sailing phased “return to sailing” – we are delighted to see some of our junior sailors back on the water this week for the commencement of our Summer Sailing clinics. Level 3 standard sailors launched in sunshine on Monday morning for Clinic 1. Clinic 2 (level 4 sailors) will commence next Monday 13th July and will run for two weeks.
We are also delighted to announce the July Lousy Cup – junior dinghy racing commences on Saturday 11th July. First Gun will be at 1100 hours so we would suggest all sailors be at the club at 1000 hours to get rigged. Changing rooms are closed so please come ready to go racing.
In line with HSE social distancing requirements any two handed boats must be crewed from the same family/household.
In line with previous years, each boat racing must have a sail number displayed. If you do not have a number on your sail please visit the club this week to purchase numbers prior to racing.
